Position Management

What is position management?

The position management page is your core entry point in Shark for viewing and handling open positions. You can view current positions by wallet, quickly check each token's balance, value, buy/sell activity, and profit or loss, and directly execute quick sells or share position images.

How to use the position page

First, select the wallet you want to view in the top-right corner.
Browse the position cards and verify token name, balance, market cap, price, and profit or loss.
If you need to exit a position, click Quick Sell, set the sell percentage, and confirm.
If you want to show your performance publicly, click Share Image and copy the position image to your clipboard.
Watch the page notifications to see whether an order is completed or still processing.

Features explained

Wallet selection

Wallet dropdown: Switch the wallet currently used for viewing positions.
Default wallet priority: The page prefers your default wallet. If no default wallet is set, it automatically selects the first wallet in the list.

Position card information

Each position is shown as an independent card, mainly including the following details:

Basic token info: Token icon, symbol, and shortened address display.
Copy address: One-click copy of the full token address.
External link: Jump to Dexscreener to view this token's market data.
Balance and value: Shows the position's USD value, SOL value, and token amount.
Market cap and price: Shows the token's current market cap and price.
Buy and sell totals: Shows cumulative SOL amount bought and sold for this position.
Profit: Shows both return rate and profit amount, making it easier to evaluate current position performance.
Freeze tag: If the token is frozen, a Frozen label is displayed.

Quick Sell

Entry point: Click Quick Sell at the bottom-right of a position card.
Sell percentage: Set the sell percentage in the dialog by slider or input field (0% to 100%).
Confirmation: After you click confirm, the system submits the sell order and enters processing state.
Result feedback:
- Success: You will be notified that the order is complete, and positions for the current wallet refresh automatically.
- Failed: You will see the failure reason (for example, on-chain error or parameter error).
- Processing: If no final status returns in a short time, you will be notified that the order is still processing.

Entry point: Click Share Image on the position card.
Image preview: The system generates a share image for that asset and previews it in a dialog.
Copy image: Click Copy Image to write the image to clipboard for posting in communities or chat windows.
How to close: You can close via the close button, press Esc, or click outside the dialog.
